May 1 and 2 are Montenegro's two statutory Labour Day holidays. Because May 2, 2027 falls on Sunday, the first following working day is also observed under the holiday law.

January 1 and 2 are Montenegro's statutory New Year holidays. Kotor's 2026/27 public celebration programme has not yet been announced, so no concert or fireworks claim is included.
Statehood Day (Dan državnosti)
July 13 is Montenegro's national day, recalling both the 1878 Berlin Congress recognition of independence and the 1941 anti-fascist uprising. It is a two-day public holiday at the height of the tourist season.
